Short-Term Disability

• You can buy up to 60% of your basic weekly earnings from $100 up to a $1,000 maximum. The amount must be in $50 increments.
• Coverage becomes effective the first day of the first month after joining the company.
• Covered disabilities include sickness, pregnancy or accidental injury. You must be under a doctor's care for payments to begin.
• Pre-existing conditions do apply. Disability payments begin after 7 working days and end after 13 weeks of disability.

Long-Term Disability

• Choose the right amount of coverage based
  on your monthly earnings.
• Coverage becomes effective the first day of the
  first month after joining the company.
• Covered disabilities include sickness, pregnancy or accidental injury. You must be under a doctor's care for payments to begin.
• Pre-existing conditions do apply.
• Disability pay begins after 90 calendar days and continues until you are no longer disabled, or reach age 65.
